Description
Based on Takenobu Igarashi’s previous clock designs created for the Sapporo train station in Hokkaido, Japan, the Eki Clock puts a focus on readability and clarity. Naturally, this designer clock is also elegantly simple and bold. The dial features large, easy to read numerals in an original font. Small squares mark the minutes, while two hands in a matching color show the current time. Crafted to stand the test of time, this wall clock features an aluminum frame made with a sand casting and lathing technique. The Eki Clock has received several design awards, including the Good Design Award 2006 (Japan) and the A’ Design Award & Competition 2018 / Bronze (Italy).
