Description
The Dorothea Charcoal is a dog carrier bag by 2.8 Design for Dogs, the Italian pet design brand also known as Duepuntootto. This version pairs a charcoal cellulose-fiber exterior with a removable black bouclé wool lining, giving small to medium dogs a soft interior while keeping the outside light, structured, and easy to clean.
The bag is designed for everyday carrying, city errands, short trips, and travel days where a soft carrier is more practical than a rigid crate. The top opening is wider than the base, which gives the bag its paper-bag shape and makes it easier for the dog to settle inside. Reinforced cotton handles allow shoulder carry, while eco-leather details finish the exterior.
The removable inner lining is the key functional feature. It can be machine washed at low temperature with a wool or delicate detergent, while the paper-based exterior should be cleaned separately with a damp cloth. The manufacturer recommends the carrier for dogs weighing up to 6–7 kg, or about 13–15 lb.
This Charcoal configuration includes the black bouclé wool lining only. The optional mesh-and-zipper lining found elsewhere in the Dorothea range is not listed as included with this product. The carrier should be used under supervision and should not be described as airline-approved or crash-tested unless the supplier provides separate documentation.
