The Ansel Dog Blanket by Due Punto Otto is made in Italy from original TACS Casentino wool, a traditional Tuscan fabric recognized by its dense, curled surface. Warm, durable, and naturally resistant to light moisture, the blanket gives dogs a familiar place to rest at home or while traveling.
Spread it over a dog bed, sofa, armchair, or car seat to add warmth while protecting the surface underneath. A vegetable-tanned leather handle makes the blanket easy to carry, hang, and store between uses. The border is embroidered with contrasting saddle-stitch detailing.
Ansel is available in two colors drawn from the Casentino wool tradition: Tuscan Orange and Blue. The Medium size works well as an individual resting layer or furniture cover, while the longer Large size provides more room for bigger dogs or use across a wider seat.
The blanket is machine washable at 86°F on a gentle wool cycle with wool detergent. Do not bleach, spin, tumble dry, or use whitening and stain-removing additives. Dry it flat and away from direct heat. The dog should not be allowed to chew the wool or leather handle, and the blanket should be checked regularly for damage.
