Description
A crumpled paper globe balanced on a slender black stem gives the Cho Floor Lamp its distinctive silhouette. Designed by Dimitri Bähler for Established & Sons, it pairs traditional Japanese Washi paper with carbon fiber, bringing together a textured shade and a remarkably fine supporting structure.
The off-white paper softens the LED light into an ambient glow, with its folds and seams visible across the illuminated surface. A weighted steel base anchors the flexible stem, which can move gently with air currents. Place the smaller version beside a sofa or bedroom chair, or use the taller model to bring light and height to a living room corner. An inline foot dimmer makes it easy to adjust the brightness from the floor.
Cho’s shade attaches magnetically and takes shape through an internal balloon that is inflated during assembly. It can be topped up with air periodically to maintain its form. Both sizes include a replaceable custom LED light source and are intended for indoor use.
