Designed by Josep Torres Clavé in 1931, GATCPAC pairs a tall polished aluminum stem with a large adjustable shade. Aim it upward for indirect room light or tilt it toward a chair or table for a more focused beam. A foot dimmer lets you adjust the light level without changing the lamp’s position.

Designed by Josep Torres Clavé in 1931, the GATCPAC Floor Lamp comes from the early years of modern architecture in Catalonia. Its construction is direct: a tall polished aluminum stem rises from a circular base to support a broad dome-shaped shade that can be adjusted by hand.

Point the shade upward to bounce light off the ceiling and illuminate a room indirectly, or tilt it to one side for more concentrated light over a seating area, reading chair, or table. At 81.5 inches high, GATCPAC works particularly well where a conventional floor lamp would sit too low or provide light in only one direction.

The polished aluminum construction gives the lamp a strong architectural character without adding visual bulk. A foot dimmer provides control over brightness.

The US version uses an E26 socket and requires a dimmable bulb, sold separately. Santa & Cole currently recommends an 11W LED bulb producing approximately 1,521 lumens at 2700K. For dry indoor locations only.
