Description
The Aarno Double-Sided Wall Clock by Interform brings the practical format of a station clock into a warmer, more domestic form. It mounts perpendicular to the wall, with an analog face on each side, so the time can be checked from two directions. Use it between a kitchen and dining area, in a hallway, near an entry, in an office, or in a shop where one flat wall clock would be easy to miss.
Aarno uses a wood frame rather than a metal case, giving the clock a softer look than a typical industrial double-face clock. The dial is wide and easy to read, with slim numerals, hour markers, and only hour and minute hands. The result is clear from a distance without looking busy up close.
Each side has its own sweep movement and battery compartment. The two dials can be set to the same time for normal home use, or to different times if you want to track another time zone. The magnetic dial panels can be removed for battery changes and time setting.
The clock is available in Brown and Black. Brown uses acacia wood for a warmer natural grain, while Black uses oak with a darker finish and a stronger graphic contrast against the white dial. Because the frame is wood, grain and tone may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Aarno requires two AA batteries, which are not included. Rechargeable batteries are not supported. Two wood screws are included for installation, but the clock must be mounted to a strong surface, such as a thick wooden wall, wood post, or concrete wall that can support the load. Do not install it on drywall or plasterboard alone, thin wood walls, or ceilings.
