The striking ½ Wooden Stool from the Witamina D studio is a unique piece of furniture that combines a contemporary design with natural materials. It features solid wood seating and a steel support, bringing together the warmth of oak and the cool, industrial look of black powder coated metal. Every element of this modern wooden stool is carefully chosen and processed, to keep in line with the studio’s “Slow Design” approach. The solid wood comes from Polish forests, is FSC certified as well as hand sanded and oiled by local craftsmen, while the metal is laser cut and powder coated by a local manufacturer. Versatile and stylish, the eco-friendly wooden stool can be used as seating, as a small coffee table or as a night table. There are three versions available: lighter natural oak, smoked oak and black oak.
