Description
The Time and Space Watch brings Oliver Jeffers’ universe to the wrist, with a deep blue dial scattered with stars, constellations, planets, and four small symbols of human invention. A match, a lightbulb, a book, and a car replace traditional indexes, turning the watch face into a miniature story about fire, ideas, knowledge, and engineering. Drawn from Jeffers’ familiar world of curiosity and hand-drawn wonder, the design feels playful without becoming childish, imaginative without losing the character of a proper mechanical watch.
Each of the four symbolic indexes is hand-painted under magnification using micro brushes, with more than two hours and 12 steps required for each symbol. The result is a dial with small, human variations from one watch to the next. The rose-gold-plated stainless steel case frames the night-blue surface warmly, while the carved eight-pointed star on the crown and the exhibition case back continue the celestial language in quieter details. Inside, a modified NH35-ATD automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, and seconds.
Limited to 300 pieces worldwide, the watch comes in a hardcover book-style box designed in Jeffers’ visual language. Inside are the mechanical watch, original pages created for the collaboration, and an autograph from Oliver Jeffers with an individual number. Please note that this is a pre-order item. Shipping is expected in December 2026.
