Prepare your tea according to Japanese tradition with the Oitomi Square Maru Arare Nambu Tekki Iron Kettle. Designed with a square-shaped pattern that covers both the upper body and the lid, this kettle refines the classic tetsubin with a contemporary twist. The large rounded handle provides an excellent grip and helps you pour hot water or tea with an elegant gesture. Since it’s flexible, the handle also makes storage easier.
Inside the kettle, a stainless steel strainer keeps tea leaves contained while letting them develop their flavor fully. Like other Oitomi kettles, this one is beautifully handcrafted from cast iron and finished with the traditional kama-yaki technique that prevents rust. The interior is not enameled, ensuring that the cast iron gives a mellow and smooth flavor to tea. Perfect for everyday use, the Oitomi Square Maru Arare Nambu Tekki Iron Kettle is medium-sized and has a capacity of 0.7 L. This product suits all heating sources, from open flames to induction cooktops.
Please keep in mind that while it is crafted with an anti-rust technique, this product can rust if moisture is left inside the kettle. Don’t use detergent, sponges or scrubbers to clean the kettle, as they can damage the material. Wipe off any excess moisture with a soft cloth.
Only use low to medium heat on induction stoves, as high heat can deform the cast iron. If used on an open flame, keep in mind that the cast iron will gradually discolor and the base will turn white over time.

Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
