Description
A bridge through time, the Roije Shades of Plates Circle plate brings together past and present in a creative design. Commissioned by the Rijksmuseum, this series of wood plates gives a nod to the museum’s collection of Golden Age porcelain. Designer Frederik Roijé used the detailed motifs as a source of inspiration, resulting in a plate that mesmerizes with its elaborate circular pattern. Recreating a nature scene, the plate features a tree in bloom growing at the edge of the water. A border made of neatly shaped circles completes the design. Matching the pretty design with incredible versatility, the Roije Shades of Plates Circle plate can be used as a serving platter, tray or even as a cutting board. Other designs from the same collection are also available.
