This Seletti Monkey Lamp perfectly combines art, design and functionality to provide a creative alternative to classic outdoor lamps. Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba has taken the original design, created for Seletti in 2015, and transformed it into an outdoor-friendly version meant to both beautify and brighten gardens, patios and terraces. The pose is natural and dynamic, making the detailed resin sculpture look more realistic. Completed with a special black paint, the lamp is perfectly protected from the elements; the darker finish also ensures that the monkey lamp stands out during the day when it’s not in use, as well as at night, when the LED light gives the design a dramatic and mysterious appearance. The lamp can be used alone to create a focal point or along with the other three designs, as standing, sitting and ceiling versions are also available.
