Born in 1976 in Massa Lombarda, Italy, Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba studied art at the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts. Immediately after completing his studies, he started working in theater while also collaborating with architecture studios. During this time, his work began merging art and design. The marriage between these two creative fields along with an exploration of the relationship between Nature, Man, and Object define Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba’s work. Surreal and conceptual, the designer’s projects blur the line between artwork and product design. Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba infuses all of his designs with philosophical concepts, playfulness, and hints of irony.
