Description

A carafe inspired by art transforms the serving ritual into a more refined experience. The Raawii Strøm Jug Green Gables does exactly that. Created by designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen, the pitcher offers a modern take on the vessels found in the still-life paintings of modernist artist Vilhelm Lundstrøm. Even the dark green, muted color comes from Lundstrøm’s artworks. Handmade from earthenware with a slip-cast technique, the carafe has a matte finish. The Strøm Jug comes in two sizes: small with a capacity of 25 fl oz and medium with a capacity of 30 fl oz. Beautiful on its own, the pitcher stands out even more when paired with the sculptural bowl and vase from the same collection.
