Eco-friendly design at its most ingenious, the Pidät STOP Doorstop opens the way toward a more sustainable home. Because even the smallest home accessories and everyday items should be as green as possible. Designed by Studio Gorm, STOP has a conical shape that wedges into the door at any angle. To craft this eco-friendly doorstop, Finnish brand Pidät collaborates with a shoe sole manufacturer. Each STOP doorstop is made from recycled shoe soles and comes with a 100% recycled plastic rope dyed in a water-free process. A reusable cotton bag is included with every doorstop. Printed with the product’s information, the cotton pouch replaces excess packaging and even a label to ensure a minimal carbon footprint.

    Specifications

    • Materials: Synthetic rubber is 60% from recycled shoe soles. The polyester rope is 100% from upcycled post-consumer waste plastic drinking bottles, & colored using a water-free dying process. Synthetic rubber and polyester rope materials are certified by Global Recycled Standard 4.0. Materials pass REACH and California Prop 65 testing.
    • Dimensions: Diam 5-3/4” x h 1-1/2” or  146 mm x h 40 mm
    • Packaging: There is no label attached, and no packaging that needs to go to the landfill. All of the information about your doorstop is printed on a reusable cotton pouch.
