Description
Light and elegant, the Pia Chair explores the “less is more” concept with a design that also celebrates Danish carpentry tradition. Designed by Poul Cadovius in 1959, the chair is now part of the dk3 collection which brings classics to life for a new generation of design lovers. Inspired by chairs from the ‘40s era, Pia features an elegant design that puts the focus on thoughtful details. For example, the legs have a thin, conical shape. They boast a rounded top with a hand-sanded finish and feature finger joints at the front. Crafted by hand from paper cord that features a special treatment for more durability, the seat adds a beautiful texture to the design. Finally, the molded backrest maximizes comfort. The Pia Chair comes in oak, black lacquered oak, or smoked oak.
