Originally created by iconic Danish designer Børge Mogensen in 1958, the chair has been upgraded for the dk3 collection, but features the same renowned design. BM2 features the Shaker-style silhouette, materials, and skilled craftsmanship of the BM1 version, but with armrests that provide more seating comfort. Like the chair version, the armchair has a handmade solid wood frame and a hand-woven paper cord seat treated with soap and wax for wear resistance and more durability. A perfect example of traditional Danish craftsmanship, BM2 boasts a steam-bent backrest, rounded legs, and wooden wedged joints for the armrests. Comes in oak, black lacquered oak, or smoked oak.
