Invented in 1932 by automotive engineer George Carwardine, the Anglepoise Lamp has become synonymous with progressive British design. This version of the iconic lamp translates the well-known silhouette and shade in a more compact design that celebrates the brand’s heritage. The Original 1227™ Mini Table Lamp features the classic shade shape but comes with a new pyramid-shaped base and an integrated push switch. Crafted to stand the test of time, the lamp features a cast iron base with a steel cover, steel arm, chrome plated fittings, and a steel shade.
