The design incorporates the Anglepoise® constant tension spring technology, invented in 1932 by automotive engineer George Carwardine. Flexible and practical, the lamp is easy to adjust, whether you want to change its height or the direction of the light. Created with modern homes and offices in mind, this version of the Anglepoise original lamp comes with a desk insert for a hard-mounted installation system. Durable and hard-wearing, the lamp features an aluminum shade and arms, cast iron desk insert, and chrome plated fittings. Gloss paint and chrome plated finishes available.
