Description
The Native Union POP Phone in Bubblegum brings the brand’s revived phone handset into a more playful, transparent design.
This version pairs a clear body with bright internal color blocks, turning the familiar telephone receiver into a small object for the desk, not just a call accessory. It still has the shape of a classic corded handset, but the exposed construction and color details give it a more graphic, contemporary look.
Plug it into a compatible USB-C smartphone, tablet, or laptop and use it for calls, FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, and other online meetings. There is no battery, no Bluetooth pairing, and no charging; just connect the handset and start talking. Native Union lists the POP Phone as compatible with iPhone 15 and later, USB-C Android phones, USB-C laptops, and USB-C tablets that support USB-C audio.
The full-size handset is comfortable for longer calls, while the coiled USB-C cable gives the experience a physical, analog feel that most modern devices have lost. It also includes a built-in pick-up and hang-up button, plus a microphone and speaker for clear voice calls.
Made with recycled materials, the Bubblegum POP Phone works as a practical call accessory, a desk piece, and a gift for anyone who likes retro tech with a visible design twist. MoMA Design Store lists the transparent version as designed by Fabien Nauroy, made from recycled plastics, and introduced in 2025.
