Inspired by calmness and the Danish concept of hygge, the RO lamp series brings extraordinary warmth to interiors. Designer Kim Richardt created the collection for Made by Hand. Inspired by craft traditions from the 1920s, the RO Table Lamp features a tactile shade made by covering an iron frame with a jute yarn. The name refers to the Danish word “ro”, which can mean rest, calmness, and serenity. The lamp has a simple cylindrical shape and three blackened iron legs. Even when not in use, it easily doubles as a decorative accent, adding a natural texture to a room’s decor. Turning on the light illuminates the jute cord from within, highlighting the beauty of the material. The RO Table Lamp is suitable for indoor use only.
