Description
Joe Colombo’s 1965 Spider for Oluce is pure mechanics on a stem: a chromed upright, a disc base, and a rectangular head that slides up the rail and pivots. Inside, a stove-enameled reflector seats a horizontal capsule bulb, so the beam comes out flat and even rather than spotty.
At a desk, it tucks below a monitor and clears a laptop lid; on a sideboard it acts like a precise accent, grazing spines or artwork without spill. The little lip at the head’s end catches stray brightness—your eyes stay comfortable.
Metal throughout with cord switch; made in Italy. Head travel gives real range for reading height or wall-wash moments.
