Named Ceraunavolta, from the Italian “c’era una volta” which translates to “once upon a time”, this collection gives light a fairy tale quality. Designers Edmondo Testaguzza and Matteo Ugolini have created the series with different glass diffusers that take inspiration from nature and traditional glassware techniques. Each diffuser has a different shape and character. Some designs come as single pendants while others illuminate in chandelier-like clusters. The Ceraunavolta series comprises a wide range of shapes, in both clear glass and blue glass, providing endless creative possibilities to mix and match designs. These suspension lights work with LEDs and with incandescent halogen lights, indoors only.

Matteo Ugolini was born in Pesaro, Italy. He gratuated at Centro Sperimentale Design of Ancona. Upon graduation, he started collaborating with Studio Telemaco, developing furniture and accessories for a variety of design/architectural projects.
