Nothing lasts forever – except maybe good design. Inspired by the way beauty fades away over time, Au Revoir is more than just a lighting centerpiece – it’s a light sculpture. Designer Matteo Ugolini referenced the unrelenting passage of time and how everything dies in the end in a creative chandelier design. The organic composition features curved arms with blooming flowers that seem to “drip” as the light “melts” them away. Au Revoir, or Goodbye, comes in two versions: with 5 or 11 arms. Made from opaline white glass, the chandelier comes with a steel suspension cable and suits indoor areas only.

Matteo Ugolini was born in Pesaro, Italy. He gratuated at Centro Sperimentale Design of Ancona. Upon graduation, he started collaborating with Studio Telemaco, developing furniture and accessories for a variety of design/architectural projects.
