Designed with a vibrant star pattern in a rainbow of colors, the plate brightens even the most cheerful of gatherings. Unlike glass or ceramic plates, this product is lightweight and easy to pack, even in a larger set. To make the Little Stars design, Xenia Taler uses a special material that is as eco-friendly as it is durable: bamboo mixed with melamine. Non-toxic and food-safe, the plate is free of any BPA, PVC and phthalates. Plus, it doesn’t shatter when dropped, although it may chip when forcefully dropped on concrete, for example. The material also resists scratches when used with regular forks and knives.
