Description
Designed by Francesca Borelli for Oluce, Eva treats a simple sphere like a small stage: matte black on the outside, real gold leaf lining the mouth. The beam skims the concave disk, then bounces forward as a tight, warm-edged halo; the tiny central pin gives your eye a focus and helps read depth.
Point it toward art, a shelf vignette, or the corner of a desk and it behaves like a polite spotlight. On a nightstand or credenza you get localized light—no hot spot at seated eye level, no spill across the room.
The globe is Ø13.8 in (35 cm) and sits on a low cylindrical base; metal body with gold-leaf interior that gains subtle character over time. LED source; inline dimmer on the cord for evening dial-down.
