Description
A charming take on cuckoo wall clocks, Akiko Miya’s Cuculo Felice design can make any room look brighter. Even the clock’s name is joyous: “cucolo” means cuckoo, while “felice” means happy in Italian. Depending on your point of view, the clock has the shape of a cottage or a medieval church. Either way, it houses a small cuckoo that comes out at regular intervals to mark the beginning of a new hour. The hour hand has the shape of a bird’s tail feather, but the shape is also reminiscent of a stained glass rose window. Made of ash wood, this Lemnos wall clock comes with a two-step volume control that has a light sensor.
