The Mater’s Ocean collection is a reissued 1955 design by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel, blending eco-conscious materials with classic style. Sourced from ocean waste and recycled materials, each Ocean chair incorporates 960 grams of plastic, equal to 29 plastic bottles. Winning Wallpaper* Magazine’s Design Award in 2019, this sustainable furniture range is ideal for indoor and outdoor settings. Retaining the original’s light construction and metal frame, the reimagined collection replaces wood with sustainable plastic and is designed for disassembly and recycling at the end of its life cycle. The redesigned pieces have been enlarged by 5% while still maintaining the essence of the original design.
