The colored version of the award-winning Carved wall clock maintains the creativity of the original but enhances the elegant design with beautiful colors. Designer Naoki Terada designed the wall clock for Lemnos, using a simple concept to maximize the timepiece’s visual impact. Like the original clock, Carved Colored features carved-out numbers and simple hour and minute hands. Here, the face has a bold and vibrant or a neutral gray color, with matching hands keeping the monochrome look of the design intact. Depending on the light and viewing angle, the carved numbers seem change their appearance and hue slightly. This wall clock has received the Good Design Award (Japan) in 2010. Naoki Terada

Architect and designer Naoki Terada was born in 1967 in Osaka, Japan. After completing a bachelor degree in architecture at the Meiji University in Tokyo in 1989, he moved briefly to the UK.
