Toronto-based home accessories brand Xenia Taler was founded in 1996. While the company initially produced handmade ceramic tiles, it later specialized in eco-friendly dinnerware and blankets made of organic cotton. The brand’s collection of outdoor-friendly plates, bowls, cups and trays is manufactured sustainably from a food-safe bamboo and melamine composite that is both lightweight and tougher than glass or ceramic. The manufacturing process minimizes the use of water and energy to lower the products’ carbon footprint. Non-shattering and resistant to scratches, the Xenia Taler dinnerware is produced with manually-operated machines and all products are polished by hand. The designs combine vibrant colors with simple geometric elements and decorative motifs to brighten any meal, indoors or outdoors.
