Established in 1947 in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, TAKATA Lemnos Inc. began as a raw brass casting manufacturer before partnering with Seiko in 1966 and gradually reinventing itself as a timepiece brand. In the 1980s, the company started collaborating with renowned designers, developing the Lemnos clock collection that would become known internationally.
Notable designs include the Lemnos Cuckoo Clock, the Riki alarm clock, and the Carved wall clock, among many others. Made with a focus on quality, longevity, and traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques, Lemnos wall clocks and alarm clocks have received prestigious international design awards, including the iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, and Good Design Award.
Working with talented designers, Lemnos continues to develop new products while refining earlier models with updated technology and production methods. The company also regularly introduces new versions of classic Lemnos clock designs, including the Riki wall clock and alarm clock series.
