Boulder marble bookends give a row of books a clear beginning and end. Designed by Tom Dixon for his London-based furniture, lighting, and accessories brand, the pair combines deep red Flamingo marble with golden-brown Forest Brown marble. Each piece has a curved outer profile and a flat face that rests against the books, letting the stone’s weight do the holding.
Made by stonemasons in Agra, India, the bookends are hand-turned from solid marble and finished matte. Place them at either end of a selection of hardbacks on an open shelf, or use them to organize reference books on a desk. The contrasting colors distinguish the pair, while the veining gives each bookend its own pattern.
The set includes one bookend in each marble. Natural variations in tone and veining mean the pieces you receive will differ from the photographs. Pair them with a favorite book for a housewarming gift.
