Nordic design principles and Shaker style meet in the BM1 Chair. Designed by legendary furniture designer Børge Mogensen in 1958, this dk3 chair is a perfect example of the “Danish Modern” design that made waves in the ‘50s and ‘60s. BM1 has a solid wood build and comes with a paper cord seat that features a soap and wax treatment for superior wear resistance. 100% handmade, the chair features round legs crafted from a single piece of wood and a steam-bent backrest with an ergonomic curvature. This chair comes in oak, black lacquered oak, and warm smoked oak wood. An armchair version of this design is also available.
