Description

The ASKA Ash Bucket gives an everyday fireplace accessory the same attention as the rest of the room. Designed by Chris L. Halstrom for Blomus, it pairs a cylindrical brushed stainless steel container with a fitted lid and a leather-wrapped carrying handle.

Made for collecting and temporarily storing completely cooled fireplace ash, the lid helps keep loose ash and dust contained between cleanouts. The leather detail makes the handle more comfortable to carry while adding warmth against the matte metal surface.

The bucket itself measures approximately 7.1 inches in diameter and height. With the handle raised, the overall height reaches 11.4 inches, keeping the footprint compact enough to leave beside a fireplace without taking over the hearth area.

Part of the ASKA collection, it can also be paired with the matching firewood rack and fireplace tool set. Designed for indoor use.

Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, born in 1977, works primarily with furniture and smaller objects for the home, always focusing on function in everyday life. She is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture and design, but never ignores her Nordic roots. Chris L. Halstrøm lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she established her studio after her graduation from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
