Description
The Arkade Dining Chair with Black Metal Frame brings a 1983 Nanna Ditzel design into production through Brdr. Krüger’s Danish workshop. The chair is built around repeated curves: arched wood legs, a rounded upholstered seat and back, and a slim metal frame that ties the structure together.
This version fixes the metal frame in black, making it the most graphic and versatile of the three metal-frame options. The black metal creates a crisp outline around the oak frame and upholstered surfaces, working especially well with pale fabric, black leather, and warm brown leather. It is a strong choice for modern dining rooms, hospitality spaces, meeting rooms, and interiors where the chair needs definition without becoming visually heavy.
The wood frame comes in three finishes. White-Oiled Oak gives the chair the lightest look. Oiled Oak brings a warmer natural wood tone. Oiled Fumed Oak adds more depth and contrast, especially when paired with the black frame.
For upholstery, choose Cream Fabric in Kvadrat Moss 0019 for a soft textile look, or select one of the semi-aniline leather options. Oyster and Almond are lighter leather choices. Brandy and Cinnamon add warmer brown tones. Savanne Black creates the most tonal, high-contrast version with the black metal frame.
