Created by Erwan Bouroullec in 2024, this chair reduces form to its most minimal components: two molded plywood shells for seat and back, a cross-like structure of bent metal profiles and a die-cast aluminum swivel base. The exposed spine provides the element’s dynamic in-motion quality, flexing lightly as you sit, while the plywood is shaped and positioned so precisely—there is no extra padding—that every contour meets a relaxed body just right.
