Description

Designed by renowned designer Riki Watanabe in 1970, the Chiisana Tokei clock started a revolution in wall clock design. Simple and more compact than the large, the small wall clock provided a modern alternative to the over-decorated clocks of the era. Lemnos has re-launched the design in an updated version that maintains the character of the original. The new Chiisana Tokei clock is crafted from steel, ABS resin, and glass. It features the recognizable round shape, compact size, and relief numerals along with the original needle stopper. The stand provides an easy solution to use this design as a desk or side table clock, as needed. The Chiisana Tokei clock has been included in the permanent collection of the JIDA Design Museum.
