Description
Básica Mínima Batería turns the compact 1994 Básica Mínima into a rechargeable lamp. It retains the cylindrical birch wood column and hand-assembled shade of the corded model, replacing the electrical cable with a lithium battery and a touch-sensitive graphite base.
Pressing the base cycles the lamp through full output, half output, and off. The battery provides up to seven hours of use at full intensity or up to 14 hours at half intensity. Recharging takes approximately five hours on the included contact charger.
Two shade versions are available. Stitched Beige Parchment has visible sewn edges and produces 38 lumens. Natural Ribbon creates a finer vertical texture and reduces the output slightly to 31 lumens. Both versions use the included 1W Santa & Cole LED light source, with a warm 2200K color temperature and a CRI of 85.
The low light output is intended for ambient illumination rather than reading or concentrated task lighting. Use it on a dining table, bedside table, shelf, console, or anywhere a small pool of warm light is needed without running a cable across the surface.
The lamp measures 12 inches high when removed from its charger and 13 inches high while charging. Its compact scale also makes it practical for restaurants and hospitality settings where several cordless lamps may be placed across tables.
The current manufacturer specification rates Básica Mínima Batería for indoor use only. It should not be exposed to water or left outdoors. Santa & Cole also recommends keeping it between 32°F and 104°F, charging it fully before first use, and recharging it every three months during extended storage.
