Description
Le Sloop is a handmade wooden toy sailboat by Maison Tirot, the French workshop that has produced wooden toy boats in Brittany since 1946. The N202 model is a small 21 cm sailboat inspired by traditional tuna fishing boats, with a sloop rig and cotton sails.
The boat is made from solid beech wood sourced from French forests near Maison Tirot’s workshop. Each piece is made and finished by hand, giving it the character of a real crafted toy rather than a molded plastic bath accessory. It is designed to float and can be used in the bath, beach pools, and small basins. It also looks good on a shelf when not in use.
Le Sloop comes in five colors for this AMEICO assortment: Red, Grey Green, Light Green, Blue, and Navy. Each version uses the same solid wood body, cotton sails, and 21 cm format.
Because the boat is made from wood, it should not be left in water for long periods. After each use, let it dry in the shade and away from strong heat. The boat meets French and European toy safety standards.
