Sebastian Herkner’s Vahlo platter stretches to 11.8″, giving mains, grilled veg, or a run of crostini their own lane. The low rim keeps sauces in check without feeling fussy.

A small, useful detail: the unglazed foot grips wood or stone so the platter doesn’t skate as it lands on the table. The speckled glaze varies subtly piece to piece—quiet character you notice up close.

Weeknight roast chicken, brunch fruit, a cheese-and-olive lineup. Also great as a staging tray by the stove.
