In Tom Sachs, Spaceships, art lovers can discover the latest work of the American artist, with a focus on of of his favorite themes, space. Edited by Thomas E. Crow and Daniel Pinchbeck, the book accompanied two exhibitions held simultaneously in New York and Palm Beach. The book follows Sachs’ immersive installations, showcasing his inventive take on space travel. Included works range from paintings and sculptures of spaceships to more conceptual works that explore the idea of space travel – in our society, through different realms, and via common household objects that playfully allude to the vacuum of space.
