Description
Pressed-steel panels, criss-crossed like a kitchen pie lattice, wrap the Hockley Heritage can and give the body extra rigidity without adding heft. Hot-dip galvanising seals the metal inside and out, so a light knock or a season in the rain won’t ruffle its finish. A solid brass rose threads onto the broad spout for a generous, even shower, while a curved steel rear handle lets you swing the full can with steady control; the ash-wood top handle stays, smoothed and varnished for a comfortable lift. Every piece is shaped, dipped, and finally hand-assembled in Haws’ West Midlands workshop—then warranted for ten years of early-morning water runs.
Capacity sits at a garden-friendly two gallons (about nine litres), enough to cover a bed without constant refills. When the job’s done, park the rose on the cross stay and hang the can in the shed; the galvanised skin will mellow to a soft silver patina over time.
