Description
Created by Wendy Legro and Maarten Collignon, founders of Rotterdam design practice Studio WM, this Wire Lounge Chair delivers the best of both comfort and style. Loving attention to detail can be seen in the delicate structure and incredibly lightweight wire frame which inspired the chair’s design; “the strength of metal gave us the freedom to push the boundaries and seek for the thinnest, most light construction to bring light into the design in a literal and figurative sense.” The artists hope that users will accent the stiff geometry with soft pillows and blankets for a fine contrast that will “[evoke] the urge to touch and use the product.”
