Stash is the salt cellar for people who actually cook. It’s a simple ash-wood cylinder that sits on the counter and keeps salt where you want it: close, covered, and clean. The lid has a stainless-steel bar that gives you leverage, so it opens quickly with one hand, even when the other is busy or messy.
From a food perspective, the size is right. It holds about 4 fl oz—roughly ½ cup—which is enough for daily cooking without leaving a big bowl of salt exposed to steam, splatter, and kitchen dust. Keep it filled with kosher salt, flaky finishing salt, or a blend you use often. Wipe it out with a damp cloth, dry the interior thoroughly, and refill.
On the design side, the object is quietly exact. The grain reads, the proportions are compact, and the steel accent is doing real work instead of posing. It’s countertop-friendly, and it looks better the more it gets used.
