Japanese traditions and European influences come together in the design of the Oitomi Standing Nambu Tekki Iron Kettle. Inspired by Japanese umbrellas, this kettle has rounded shape with a wide base and a striped pattern that evokes a sense of tranquility. The flat design and larger capacity of 0.8 L give a nod to European designs and also enhance function, helping you prepare more cups of tea, faster. Crafted in the Iwate Prefecture, this Oitomi kettle is made from durable cast iron with the kama-yaki technique that creates an anti-rust oxide layer. The interior doesn’t have an enamel coating, to ensure that the water and tea have a smoother flavor. Easy to fold for easy storage, the large handle is elegantly arched to offer a comfortable way to serve tea to your guests. As practical as it is beautiful and long-lasting, the Oitomi Standing Nambu Tekki Iron Kettle can be used on all stovetops, including induction.
Please keep in mind that while it is crafted with an anti-rust technique, this product can rust if moisture is left inside the kettle. Don’t use detergent, sponges or scrubbers to clean the kettle, as they can damage the material. Wipe off any excess moisture with a soft cloth.
Only use low to medium heat on induction stoves, as high heat can deform the cast iron. If used on an open flame, keep in mind that the cast iron will gradually discolor and the base will turn white over time.

Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
