Soft, even glow—pebble-textured sphere that cuts glare and warms a room.

Designed by Tom Dixon, the Soft Pendant wraps a welded-steel frame in a sprayed cocoon of TPU, creating translucent “cells” that read matte by day and lantern-like at night.

You notice the surface first: a mosaic of gentle circles that spreads light without hotspots. Hang one over a dining table, pair two above a kitchen island, or float a large size in the living room. Standard Edison-screw bulbs (smart bulbs welcome) let you tune brightness and color temperature. Each pendant includes a 11.5-ft fabric cable for an easy drop.

Available in two diameters—17.7″ or 23.6″—so you can size it to the space while keeping the same quiet character.

Born in Tunisia in 1959, British designer Tom Dixon moved to the UK in 1963. A self-taught designer, he became well-known in the mid ‘80s thanks to a series of welded furniture made of found and salvaged materials.
