This plate from Seletti is part of the designer’s Hybrid collection that plays on the collaboration yet distinction between Chinese and European bone china production. Design studio CTRLZAK juxtaposes the two styles by slicing the plate in half-half is decorated in an eastern motif and half in a western one. Even the rim of the plate is different on either side. This plate features a hunting scene on the European half and an abstract garden scene on the eastern half. The hunting scene is muted with only the jackets providing a pop of color while the eastern garden is brilliant and lively.
