The hands have three different widths, with the hour hand being the widest and the stop second hand the most slender. The clock is crafted from plywood with a natural color and features a glass window. The Riki Clock has received the prestigious Good Design Award (Japan) 2004. Riki Watanabe

Riki Watanabe (1911–2013) was a celebrated industrial designer and a leading figure of Japanese modernism.
