Rampa

Description

Rampa, designed by award-winning designer Achille Castiglioni and manufactured by Karakter, is a multifunctional piece on wheels from 1965. Its design is inspired by traditional florist’s display stands in Italian town squares. The Rampa features a bookshelf on one side, with four steps covered in tempered glass plates and a storage compartment in the lower step, closed with a flap door. On the opposite side, there are two open storage compartments and a larger flap that opens into a writing desk, revealing two more compartments and six drawers. Equipped with four castors, two with brakes, Rampa can be easily moved and securely positioned

Achille Castiglioni
