Let color guide you through the passage of time with the Penumbra Clock. Designed by Scholten & Baijings, this wall clock showcases the Dutch studio’s masterful use of color in a minimalist form. The creative design proposes a new way to see the time, with hints of neon orange hues that indicate the current hour, minute and second. Made with two convex pieces, the clock has a frosted finish that lets only the tips of the hands show around the edge of the dial. At the back, the neon orange color casts a subtle glow on the wall. Easy to install, the Penumbra Clock seems to float as the convex back piece pushes the dial forward, away from the wall’s flat surface.
