The clocks feature a new type of plywood made of recycled colored paper and wooden sheets. Created by the Drill Design studio for Lemnos, the collection puts a focus on understated design. Lines or dots replace the standard hour markers; no lettering, logos, or unnecessary details clutter the dial. Crafted with precision, each clock features engraving that reveals the brighter colors of the recycled paper material underneath the light brown color of the dial. The collection also celebrates traditional techniques, as the Paper-Wood Clocks are hand-polished and assembled by master craftsmen from Japan’s Toyama region.
